I was among native American medicine women who had me surrounded. One of the medicine women grabbed my left hand, turned it upright and proceeded to press a burning metal object into my palm. As I was screaming in pain she declared me a dream walker. I instantly woke up with my left hand still burning in pain but there was no injury whatsoever.
Dreams involving powerful symbols and intense emotions often carry significant meanings. Here are some interpretations for the elements in your dream:
Native American Medicine Women: These figures typically represent wisdom, healing, and a connection to nature and spirituality. Their presence suggests that you are seeking knowledge, guidance, or healing in your waking life.
Burning Metal Object: The act of being branded could symbolize a transformative experience or a rite of passage. The branding may indicate that you are undergoing a significant change in your life, possibly relating to your identity or your spiritual path.
Pain and Scream: The pain you felt in the dream, and the waking sensation of burning, may reflect deep emotions or experiences you are processing. It could indicate that you are currently confronting painful aspects of your life or are apprehensive about changes happening around you.
Declared a Dream Walker: Being labeled a "dream walker" could signify a new awareness or ability to explore your subconscious and emotions. This might suggest that you are gaining access to deeper parts of yourself, including your intuition and dreams, or it could point to a desire to navigate the secret realms of your own psyche.
Left Hand Associations: The left side of the body is often associated with the feminine, intuition, and emotions. This might suggest that your subconscious is urging you to pay attention to your feelings and intuitive insights.
Overall, your dream seems to reflect a journey of self-discovery and transformation. It invites you to embrace change, explore deep emotions, and awaken your inner wisdom. The pain you felt might also be a nudge to address underlying issues you face in your waking life. Reflecting on what changes or challenges you are experiencing may help you connect further with the dream's message.
